A modern day link to San Jose and Santa Clara County's agricultural roots. Rob Di Napoli will share some family history and the transition into an organic line of Tomato Sauces and products with Founder Rob Di Napoli. From the garden or farms to the table is an amazing but little understood process. Hear a fascinating story of what goes into producing's such a 'biggie' ingredient of Italian American cuisine. Following the presentation check out the tomato sauce in action at 2:00. Also too, you are able to sample some of the product,at the IAHF Pasta and meatball booth!
Beginners Line Dancing
3:30 - 4:30pm
Italia Pavilion
with Lucia Clementi, a special musical outreach to youth and the young at heart. Lucia is a line dancer and choreographer, and will share some of the basic steps with you, and go over some of the core dance patterns. With these basics you will be able to start literally getting into the swing of things! It's never too young to learn this growing dance form.

Italian American Youth Roundtable

Voices from a new generation of Italian Americans! Join us for a first ever youth forum from our community--an inspiring group of young Italian Americans including recipients from this years IAHF scholarships. These future leaders will share their experiences and offer insight into what it means to grow up with an Italian heritage or blended heritage in today's multicultural world. This panel is a unique opportunity to hear directly from the next generation as they reflect on their heritage and cultural roots while shaping their own identities within a modern multicultural world. Marie Dalldorf who chairs the IAHF Scholarship Committee with facilitate this discussion.
Italian Folk Costume Fashion Show

Delia Schizzano, Coordinator. Regional Costumes reflect a long tradition throughout Italy and highlight the diversity and creatively of village life. The costumes can range from simple to complex designs and forms. But common to all is its history and roots steeped in the towns and hamlets of Italian village life. In today's world these costumes are usually seen at special community occasions and regional holidays. The costume show was a hit at last years festa and we encourage you to join the show. Delia has collected several traditional regional outfits, and the costumes will be modeled by IAHF volunteers and friends. We also have some childrens outfits too. If you have a folk costume and would like to share we would love to connect. Join us at the boardwalk, for a new festa tradition.
